The Boys & Girls Clubs of
The Coastal Plain play a significant role in mentoring hundreds of kids
throughout the east each and every day. They are one of the 10 largest clubs in
the U.S.
I have been personally involved
with the clubs since my earliest days in Greenville through my Kiwanis Club. We
took children chosen by each club director on our Partners for a Day Trip to
Busch Gardens each fall as a reward for good grades and great behavior. We also
help with The Santa Project each year.
In more recent years the PSG Greenville
team has helped out with their largest fundraiser of the year, The Ultimate
Tailgate Party, which takes place the night before a major ECU home game
against the likes of UNC or Virginia Tech. PSG is a major sponsor and many of
our sales and office staff have participated the last four years. I noticed
they were showing us some appreciation in front of the home club on Firetower
Road this week.
They are also a wonderful full
service customer at three Pitt County locations!
