82 Counties in North Carolina are under a Heat Advisory. Heat Index values could reach and exceed 105 degress. These hot temperatures can have an accumulative affect on the human body. If the body does not cool and rest at night is can create more stress the next day. The longer the heat lasts, the higher the adverse impact on the body. Prolonged exposure or any strenuous activity may lead to heat related illnesses that require immediate medical attention.
With brutal heat across the state Piedmont Service Group would like to remind everyone to stay hydrated!
