Welcome Kevin!

Piedmont Service Group is proud to announce Kevin Overcash as Business Development-Energy Solutions. Kevin is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a Degree in Engineering and Management with a Finance Concentration. He comes to us from the Raleigh office of Siemens Building Technologies Division, where he held the titles of Energy and Environmental Solutions Operations Manager for the Georgia/Carolinas District and Lead Project Engineer. Prior to working with Siemens, Kevin worked for Wyeth in Sanford, NC as a Maintenance and Reliability Engineer. Kevin brings a great deal of experience in energy and maintenance efficiency and large account selling in all phases of HVAC and energy services. He will be a great compliment and asset to our sales staff in the Raleigh office. Welcome Kevin!

The annual Trend Controls Business & Sales Conference was held this past week in VA and as always Automated Facility Solutions was recognized with several achievement awards.

For the 5^th straight year AFS was awarded the Trend Top Shelf Award which is recognition for top performance in several categories surrounding growth of our business.

AFS was also awarded a top performance award from Honeywell Field Devices for our overall commitment to the Honeywell Partner program. This program extends very competitive pricing multipliers for all HW field devices that are comparative to what some of our other vendors pay such as ACR and CC Dickson. Piedmont Service Group's Greenville office recently participate in a Safety class addressing CPR. Piedmont is a huge supporter of constantly reinforcing such classes and information to ensure the safety and health of workers.  Way to go PSG Greenville!

Congratulations Kim!

Kim Stokes has been promoted to the Project Accounting Group.  In this new role, she will be assisting Gwen with construction and project related accounting activities along with maintaining some A/P processes.  Please join me in congratulating Kim in her new responsibilities.

Piedmont Lends A Helping Hand

On Saturday, April 16, 2011 a series of devastating tornadoes hit many areas of Central and Eastern North Carolina. NC Baptist disaster relief volunteers began doing assessment and disaster recovery as soon as the storms passed. Piedmont Service Group was happy to find this amazing group and donate a check to help them in their efforts.  Our hearts and prayers go out to everyone effected by the storms.

New Name...Same Great Company!

Piedmont Air Conditioning was founded in 1971 and we are celebrating our 40 year anniversary throughout all of 2011. Our employees today still strive to deliver the level of service that our founders, Larry and Buddy Kelly, built the company around. Over the last 40 years, the portfolio of services and solutions we offer to our customers has grown exponentially. Piedmont employees are working with customers to help them

• Design and install state of the art energy management and building automation systems

• Identify, design, and install energy efficiency measures aimed at reducing the utility costs, utility consumption, and carbon footprint of commercial facilities

In an effort to insure our current and future customers are aware of the vast array of value added services offered by Piedmont, we have elected to change our name from “Piedmont Air Conditioning” to “Piedmont Service Group”. This change will be effective on April 11th, 2011. There has been no change in ownership of the company. Over the next couple of months, you will see our new name and logo show up on trucks, signs, invoices, proposals, and other various areas.

Our new website will be www.piedmontservicegroup.com and our new email addresses will be @piedmontsg.com instead of @piedmontac.com.

This is a very exciting time for us and we are glad to share it with you!
