Dia de Muertos

The Day of the Dead (Día de Muertos) is a holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular, the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and helping support their spiritual journey. In Mexican culture, death is viewed as a natural part of the human cycle. Mexicans view it not as a day of sadness but as a day of celebration because their loved ones awake and celebrate with them.

Happy Halloween!

Celebrating Cameron Village 70th and Community Music School of Raleigh

Piedmont is excited to sponsor a piano for Cameron Village's 70th anniversary "Come Play With Us" event. Cameron Village has partnered with the Community Music School of Raleigh. CMS, a treasured Raleigh institution now celebrating its 25th Anniversary, gives a voice to the next generation of local musicians. A non-profit 501c3, CMS provides opportunities for children and teens with limited financial resources to receive one-on-one music instruction in orchestral and band instruments, voice, piano, percussion, harp, or guitar.

Field Appreciation Day 2019

Thursday September 19th, PSG and CMS in Raleigh held our annual Field Appreciation Day. The groups were celebrated with a steak and potato lunch and great weather to boot! Our field teams work tirelessly all year to keep the wheels rollings and this lunch is just one small way to show our appreciation.
